I've always had a love interior design and it's a big part of the reason I decided to start by own bedding and doona cover business. I've sifted through the interior design blogs and sought out my top 10 bedroom design concepts.
I personally like bedroom designs which feature lots of colour, with one key feature piece. I love the use of pattern and texture and I think the bedding you choose can really make the design of a room. I hope these images inspire you to give your own bedroom that special something.
Bedroom Design 1
This is Jenna & Josh's bedroom design from The Block 2011. I love the colour combination of aqua, pink and grey used in this bedroom. The white antique bed and the bay window also look amazing.

Bedroom Design 2
The high ceilings in this room are amazing and the low bed exaggerates this effect even further. I love the quilt cover in this bedroom. It looks absolutely stunning. The bright blue bench on the right of the bed also adds an element of cuteness.

Bedroom Design 3
A nice take on the black and white colour scheme. The white panelling on the walls looks fantastic. The bedhead and the painting on the wall aren't exactly me but I'm loving the black crochet quilt!

Bedroom Design 4
I never used to be an orange person, but I am in love with this aqua and teal bedhead.

Bedroom Design 5
This is a very different style to the other bedrooms on this page. But I think it looks amazing. The huge ceilings with their distressed walls together with midnight blue bed and matching quilt cover set just look stunning.

Bedroom Design 6
A very simplistic room, which stands it stark contrast to the previous image. The grey, white and red colour combination works perfectly in this room. It looks simple, clean and cosy.

Bedroom Design 7
This shabby chick bedroom design is really sweet. I love the combination of the huge chandalier with the distressed wooden bedhead.

Bedroom Design 8
White floors, walls and even stairs, then a splash of colour from some carefully chosen pillows and the cute piece of artwork on the wall makes this a very different yet beautiful bedroom design.

Bedroom Design 9
I think I have an obsession with this colour combination at the moment. Orange, grey and white just seem to work so well together. The bedhead and the lamp look amazing and the little footstools at the end of the bed tie it al together.

Bedroom Design 10
I love the aqua walls. They work really well with the antique lamp and brown wooden floorboards. This bedroom has a bit of a hippy, bohemiam style to it which I really like.

Bedroom Design 11
Another room with greay walls, but their darker this time, and have a really nice texture! I really like the relaxed feel that this room gives out. The brightly coloured cushions and throw rug really set this room alight.

Bedroom Design 12
This looks like a real man's room. Love the gray walls once again. The low bed made out of wooden crates and understated bed linen give this room a crisp and relaxed feel, which I'm really liking.

Bedroom Design 13
This bedroom is a bit busy for my liking but there are some features that I really like. I love the exposed brick wall. I love the huge chandalier hanging from the ceiling, and I really love the unvarnished wooden furniture which have been used throughout the room. This design speaks luxury.

Bedroom Design 14
This nursery design is so cute. It reminds me of the kind of images I would see on the pages of Frankie Magazine. The old distressed green cabinet and the cushions on the floor make this room look so pretty and homely at the same time.

Bedroom Design 15
Another design by Jenna & Josh from The Block 2011. You can tell I loved that show, and I loved these guys design style throughout. Here's the orange, grey and white colour scheme again, but doesn't it work well. i particularly like the orange antique light hanging on the right side of the room.
